Fitness challenge pits hockey, football against dance

Not by a whole lot; Im still unable (without snort-laughing or openly weeping) to visualize myself in a Zumba class, or surfing, or riding a bike without foot brakes and a wicker basket (yes, Ive ridden others, and learned that riding a mountain bike stresses me out only slightly less than riding a road bike) But my plan is to maybe let go a little of my run-and-swim-and-thats-all workouts and substitute a bit more of the body-weight variety (that type mainly because I just cant muster the energy to do machines at the gym or remember to bring my Clorox wipes). Im also determined (in theory at least) to get in another class of yoga in every week. Im tossing, albeit slowly, those fitness ingredients into my salad of running and swimming workouts: Letting go of the sameness of my usual workouts while hanging onto what I enjoy. This seems rather apropos, Im realizing, after driving with my son to Arkansas, where hell start his second year of college on Tuesday. Charlie and I are very close.
